Redhawks News · Varsity Boys Fall In First Ever Playoff Game

The Redhawk Boys Basketball season came to an end last night as they were defeated by James Island in the first round of the 4A State Playoffs. The Redhawks got off to a fast start with leads of 6-0 and then 15-9 before James Island got the hot hand to keep it close throughout the 1st Half. Down 29-26 at halftime, the Redhawks went cold in the second half, and were held to just 18 points for the half. Junior, Jordan Watson, led the team in scoring with 16 points. The Redhawks finished the year with a 13-12 overall record. Despite losing 8 seniors off this squad, the Redhawks have a lot to look forward to as their Junior Varsity team finished the season with a 15-1 record. Best of luck to our Seniors and thank you for all of your hard work! Go Redhawks!!
