Redhawks News · 9 College bound Redhawks Sign Letters of Intent


This afternoon the Westwood Athletic Department had the opportunity to celebrate 9 college bound seniors as they sign letters of intent to compete at the next level.  The Redhawks had 18 student athletes sign letters of intent this school year, setting a new school record.  The athletes honored at today’s ceremony will be representing the Redhawks at all levels of collegiate competition.  Below are today’s commitments.

Ta’Jay Dunlap- Boys Basketball committed to Southern Wesleyan University

Jada Pearson- Girls Soccer committed to Gardner Webb University

Alane Foster- Girls Cross Country and Girls Track and Field committed to USC-Upstate

Rayshawn Floyd- Boys Track committed to USC-Upstate

Paul McCants IV- Boys Cross Country and Boys Track and Field committed to Meridian Community College

Kendall Wallace- Boys Golf committed to University of NC Central

Kristopher Hill-Latimer- Football and Boys Lacrosse committed to Westminster College

Avery Pearson- Football committed to Hocking Junior College

Jasmine Finkley- Volleyball committed to Converse College
